We have stayed at this Super 8 several times before, but this was our last stay. We would have been far more forgiving if he had been honest with us from the beginning and told us to get a taxi because the shuttle wasn't available. In otherwords we stood outside in the cold weather for over an hour while the desk clerk lied to us and said the shuttle was coming.
When we arrived the shuttle was sitting in front of the hotel and the engine was cold. We replied we were not going to wait any longer and that we were already in the taxi on our way. Even then the desk clerk lied to us and said we should wait because the shuttle would be arriving any minute. After waiting out in the cold for over an hour we finally got in a taxi and called the hotel one more time to tell them we were on our way and we expected them to pay for the taxi. Once again the desk clerk assurred us the shuttle would be there any minute. After waiting another 20 minutes we called again because the driver still had not come. Again he said the driver and just dropped of his passengers and would be there to pick us up in about 10 minutes. After a half hour we called and spoke with the desk clerk again. This hotel is about a seven minute drive from the airport so the 20 mintue wait seemed about right. The desk clerk told us that the driver had just left the airport after picking up other arrivals and it would be about 20 minutes before he would be there to get us. and told them we needed the shuttle to pick us up. We are giving a poor rating to this Super 8 because on our arrival back from our vacation we called the hotel at approximately 11:15 P.M.
